CTET February 2026: Eligibility Details
Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) Eligibility
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms. OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Junior Level (Class 6 to 8) Eligibility
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed, in accordance with the NCTE Norms. OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed. OR
- Any candidate having a qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible.
- Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
