NTA UGC NET Answer Key 2026 – Status Out
The University Grants Commission (UGC), through the National Testing Agency (NTA), has released the NTA UGC NET Answer Key 2026 on its official website. The examination for the NET / JRF Exam was conducted from 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 & 30 June 2026. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now check and download the answer key. UGC NET 2026 Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, consisting of two papers:
- Total Papers: 2 (Paper-I & Paper-II)
- Total Questions: 150 (50 in Paper-I, 100 in Paper-II)
- Total Marks: 300 (100 for Paper-I, 200 for Paper-II)
- Duration: 3 Hours (No break between Paper-I and Paper-II)
- Negative Marking: No negative marking for incorrect answers.
Paper Details:
- Paper 1: General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude (common for all candidates)
- Paper 2: Subject-Specific Paper (based on the subject chosen by the candidate from 80+ available subjects)
UGC NET Syllabus 2026
The syllabus for UGC NET includes two papers:
- Paper 1: Covers topics such as Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Comprehension, Communication, Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), People, Development and Environment, Higher Education System.
- Paper 2: Covers subject-based topics as per the candidate's chosen subject.
